Asphalt Moisture Content Tester

The test set is used for the determination of water content of bituminous materials.The test is based on distillation of sample with a volatile solvent. The material to tested is heated under reflux with a water miscible solvent, the distilled together with the water in the sample. Condensed solvent and water are continuously separated in a trap, the water sets in the completed section, and the solvent return to the still.
